Hi Everyone, I just had to send my D7000 in to have the sensor cleaned as I had some horrid spots visible, like small bubbles and a few dark dust spots. I was asked if I tried to clean the sensor myself as I had "water spots" on the sensor. I never touched the sensor only tried to blow the sensor area with compressed air, ever so carefully. I was bothered about the spots as I have always babied my equipment, so I did a search on D7000 spots. Much to my surprise it looks like Nikon has been having an over lubrication issue with this model. Anyone else seen this issue?? Check out this tab: Oil Spots on a Nikon D7000 Sensor | Flickr - Photo Sharing! I have written to the repair shop about this issue and haven't heard back as of yet...My camera is do to be shipped back in the next day or so. Something to keep in mind if you see little bubbles on your photos. Just my $0.02 Ken
