I do know the notification for quotes isn't working all that well. It will display a notification, but the particular quote that goes with the notification doesn't seem to show up until much later.In any case, I can't speak for Jake, but when using Live View, the mirror is up for such a long time which exposes the sensor to any contaminates that may be floating around inside your camera. I have noticed my sensor shows more spots after using Live View even though I try to be careful when changing lenses.
