It includes the full version of Photoshop, Camera RAW, and Bridge. I too have a stand alone copy of Lightroom, but that version no longer gets updated. The subscription gets updated with the latest features for all of the software that is included. So I guess your version of LR doesn't support your OS for Mac? Maybe a subscription based service just isn't for you. And that's your choice.
