No, It's not my D3100 this time. My wife has a Coolpix L120 which has been a great little camera but recently it started not shooting. You would hold down the button and it might take a minute or two to fire and it might not fire at all. I sent it off to Nikon support for repair. They said it would be $87 to fix it. I paid the $87. that was a month ago. I emailed Friday and got a automated response telling me someone would email me back the following business day. No email yesterday or today. So today (Tuesday) I called them only to get someone who I don't think really cared what my problem was. They said parts had to be ordered and they did not know the status. They then said that they would check and if they did not get a response in a couple of days they would call me back and let me know that they did not know anything yet. How long should it take to get a camera repaired my Nikon? I am about ready to tell them to ship it back un-repaired and go buy her a Canon. Venting over now.
