Careful, young man. Topaz can be a very, VERY slippery slope. They have some amazing filters, and yes, I use them. But it can take a while for your brain to form properly around the idea of what's just cool, what's not really cool but it made this so-so photo something that I like to look at more than before, what is somewhat amazing in how it does it and can make a real slick piece of starving artist wall art, and what can take a great capture and turn it to dreck and what can take a great capture and make it pop. I've reprocessed more stuff that I'd "finished" with Topaz than I want to admit, so I know of what I speak. I do use a couple filters quite a bit for certain kinds of shots, but it's taken over a year of coming out of Topaz with something I thought I had nailed only to look at it the next day and ask "What were you thinking?!" For a graphic artist, though, or to produce elements of a commercial piece, it's a superb tool and I've moved away from the Nik Collection as their Studio has many of the same tools and more, particular now that DxO Labs wants me to buy it a second time. All this said, you want to really get lost in playing with filters take a look at Topaz AI ReMix. It'll make your head explode.
