alot of you guys have had camera and in turn camera bags for a while now. so im looking for advice on a bag for my D3100. im looking for either a nice leather bag or a army stlye rucksack that is not designed for a camera but works great with inserts etc.
of course if there is an incognito camera bag you know of then that'll do just fine!
if there is a thread i may have missed please do send me there instead!

Not sure they're going to be to your liking but maybe something from Crumpler? I like my 4 Million Dollar Home a lot but am considering moving up to a $5 Million. Very nice bags.

see i like the bags function but to me it isnt aesthetically pleasing enough.
what i shouldve explained better is. i would like a leather or some other nice material as my "urban" bag and for carrying when im just doing my thing. and then a rucksack for when im go for some wildlife/landscape/nature shots

When I walk through the streets of big cities I put my camera in a supermarket bag ..pull it out at the wedding venue and crunch it up to small volume in my back pocket ...perfect....

Simple, effective for now. fits both lenses n body, batteries, cables, charger, random misc things, looks totally awesome.

Jill-e designs make good leather bags that are very pleasing to the eye. Look under the "jack collection" for men's bags. They are a bit pricey though but b+h, amazon and adorama have a few of these on sale right now. They both just had sales for mothers day. I am pretty sure they may have more of these on sale close to fathers day. I just bought one of the medium ones but in black. Look up a few videos on youtube to get a better look at them. The jack medium and jack leather messenger are nice. It all depends on your taste of course. If you intend to purchase these bags, I would not order it directly from the jill-e site. They are more expensive than the other sites listed. If you are not in a rush, I would wait until fathers day or another sale. I believe these sales just ended. As mentioned, they may have more sales close to fathers day.
