I lost somewhere between 10 and 15kg (22-33lbs) a couple of years back. Only reason I am not sure of the amount is I didn't have scales at the time. I counted calories, and I exercised EVERY day (walking or table tennis). I was shocked at the calorific value some food had and as a result rarely eat pasta, rice or potatoes. I substitute vegetables instead. It was hard sticking to a 1200 cal diet at first but got easier as I went along. I used a website to help me (Australian Online Diet and weight loss club. Lose weight for good!). One thing I did do though is have Sunday every week as an anything goes day. At first I really pigged out on Sundays but found as time went on I needed/wanted less chocolate and sugary stuff. Oh...and don't weigh yourself every day. Do it weekly...naked...and before eating but after you empty your bladder :D It also helps to measure your chest, waist, hips and upper thighs to get a good idea of what is happening ;) I am not longer on a diet but am slowly seeing the weight creep back on. If I go up a dress size I'll knuckle back down a bit. I went down quite a few dress sizes and don't want to go back. It's also easier if you have buddies doing the same to give you support. Keep posting here and we'll support you :D
