***Update again...*** OK. I figured out how to get my Preset measurement and had it on the Fn1 button as many wildlife guys have reccomented, but coming from- and still using my DSLRs- D850 w/grip and D810 I am used to fully wrapping my fingers around the bigger grips and on the Z6III I keep hitting the Fn1 or 2 buttons, especially when wearing gloves and accidentally changing my WB or Focus Area modes. The WB is particularly a problem. So finally I tried to assign WB to a different control button. The Drive mode button on back upper left seemed like a good candidate. I'm fine to be able to change from Single shot to Low or High speed capture on the "I" menu as I don't change that often. And seems to work on that Release Mode/Protect button on PRE. Press once to activate Press and hold a bit to get the measurement square and hit shutter to measure. Voila- Custom WB recorded. I think this will be a better location for me. Now I need to figure a better use for the Fn1 button. Happy to hear suggestions. I shoot events more than wildlife so any of you who have the Z6III, Z8 or 9, love to hear how you configure ALL your controls.
