Message: <blockquote data-quote="Moviesla" data-source="post: 511948" data-attributes="member: 39230">The transferring of files from my D5500 to my computer via the cable has worked great since I bought the camera last February.  Today I connected the cable to a USB port on my computer and nothing happened when I next turned on the camera--no reaction on my screen.  The lights on my camera did flicker for about a second and then went off.  I think I found the first step in solving the problem:  I checked the Device Manager in my Windows 7 and clicked on the portable device called D5500 and got the following warning:  "Windows cannot start this hardware device because its configuration information (in the registry) is incomplete or damaged. (Code 19)"What do I do now??</blockquote>
