It's the view out my "office" window (I work out of my home) and I'm considering a 365 project of photos taken from this window. While it's not yet "the end" the topography has changed a bit since yesterday, what with the river that seems to be forming in the back yard. As I opened the window to shoot this there were ducks flying in from overhead, but they chose the larger puddle in field out back as a landing spot. This is our haven, where we have quite a menagerie that shares the space with us. I believe we're up to close to 80 or 85 species of birds spotted in or flying over this area, and we've had everything from the expected White-tailed Deer, Grey & Red Squirrels, Groundhogs, Voles, Chipmunks and domestic pets wandering through, to Black Bear, Red Fox, Coyote, Weasels and even a stray Fisher Cat two years ago. Who needs to go on safari when you can sit on your deck - or in your office? LOL If we don't make it past today, this is a place I'll sorely miss.
