It's so so easy to get caught with this buying frenzy we seem to be getting into. I don't know if all of you are like me, but I get all excited and think that I need the newer stuff to enjoy photography more. Now this is such a misconception created by marketing specialists that make their living by making us believe. When I stop to think about it, I know that I will NOT do better images with newer equipment. There are lots of things that I haven't done and that I will never do WITH or WITHOUT a new camera body. But it's a daily battle to just stop looking at this newer stuff, it's all over the social medias and maybe this is how we are fed "needs" and wants. When I remove myself from such advertising and go out with my camera, I still enjoy myself a lot more than when I sit in front of my computer and look at all the new stuff I don't have. Have a great Thanksgiving with your loved ones and say thank you for all you have. Nothing that you buy can make you as happy as having a family and friends to live with, and don't let "stuff" get in the way of your happiness.
