I been wanting to pick one of these up for a long time. I can see my wife picking up one of my lens by mistake and putting it the dish washer. You laugh now, but stranger things have happened in my house.:p

Rick that would not be a pleasant feeling! But those mugs are certainly really neat. I doubt they weigh as much as lens anyway
so no worry about that confusion ;)

You mean this thing, right? :) It really does look real. I've had mine for more than a year now. It even zooms! lol :)

LOL Jack!!!!!!!! Yes that is indeed the one in discussion. I see that you have already discovered it;)Did you order yours from Amazon too Jack? I stumbled across it by accident and thought it was cool. I need a new coffee mug for the car anyway.

LOL Tami. :) No, I got from a neighbour that was giving away some of his stuff at a garage sale, so I grabbed it! :) Lucky me, eh! :)

As for the tipability......it's really made for a cup holder in a vehicle, because of the small base. I've never had a problem with it sitting on my desk, but you clumsy types would probably have a problem with it. ;)

I wouldn't tip it over. My luck I would leave it in the car and someone would break in thinking it WAS a lens.

Food for thought if you're getting one for the car, take your coffee with you.

In my tired state in the morning I would probably try to attach it to my camera. That would be a great gag gift I you wanted to tell someone you bought them a 70-200 f2.8 lens LOL
