Nikon Repair Question

I am considering sending in my D7200 for repair after a recent short drop and using it as a backup for travel to my D7500 instead of buying a new second body. When you send it it does Nikon fix anything they find wrong and clean the sensor etc, or just the issue, In my case the screen is totally bright and can't be adjusted to see the menus. In other words does it come back like new. I once sent a lense in a few years ago for a switch issue and they fixed that and cleaned the lense instead spotless and I didn't ask for that they just did it. Thanks for any info.

They always clean and adjust to factory specs, I believe. When I sent a D500 in for shutter repair, they also replaced a worn rubber hand grip. They do seem to look the camera over well and find everything that needs to be done. I think the sensor is cleaned as a matter of course, since they have the camera open while repairing.
