Even so I vote for the D7000 even though the D7100 is comng ut in a month or two.You can get the D7000 for a great price these days, about $900 for the body only. It's worth every penny and it will serve you for many years to come.You already have some experience with a D3100 so there won't be too much of a learning curve. Besides for the 24MP, which you most likely don't need the D7000 blows the D5200 away.Just my opinion which I am sure is shared by many.here.</blockquote>
