You mention accidentally releasing the lens button... That button only needs to be pressed once briefly as you are taking the lens off. If you happen to be holding that button down while installing the lens, you can actually turn the lens too far and have the contacts not mate well. If by chance you are doing that, don't do that. Let the lens just click into place.Other than that, I don't know. Tell us more, like if live view works as Scott mentioned. Or any other details about what works and what mode it works in while live view is not working?</p></blockquote><p></p>
