With the 5200, you can go in the camera menu and add sharpness and saturation. I thin think the differences you see are only differences of post production and that the two images could be processed to look the same. We also don't know which lenses were used to take these pictures.There is also another factor to consider it's the way the camera can be held and used in YOUR hands. Go to a store and hold both, take a few pictures and feel your level of comfort with both. If one or the other is more comfortable to YOU, then pick that one.
