What I do know is I did a ton of research about different cameras, and lenses and from what I understand, this 18-200mm lens will be pretty much the only one you'll ever need. One professional was quoted as saying this lens is equivalent to an entire bag of lenses. On the other hand, if money is an issue you could probably easily sell this lens for 600-700 and buy a 18-55 for about 150-200 and start there???</p></blockquote><p></p>
