Nikon D5100 newbie question

Can someone tell me how to set the camera to take the pictures rapidly. I thought there was a setting that allowed the camera to shoot pictures very quickly.

Why do you want to shoot snaps rapidly if I may ask?

I am assuming that you want to click pictures in 'Continuous mode' or 'burst mode'?

Our photographer shoots around 800 pictures in a 30 min session. With kids this is big with getting the perfect smile.

In menu look for "Release" mode, continuous is an option beneath that menu item. I think it will shoot at 4 FPS (frames per second).
