Nikon D5100 A1.01 firmware still available?

Hi folks,

I'm struggling in finding the binaries or the archive with the D5100_0101.bin file. I need it as a backup for my camera wich has it currently installed (A 1.01, B 1.01, L 1.002).
I went through a detailed search in all threads here and there were some links which seams to be dead by now, which is normal as this is one pretty old camera.

Any help with finding this firmware will be highly appreciated.

Thank you Clovishound, but I already have downloaded the A 1.02 . The reason that I'm looking for the previous version is that I need it for the experiment with the hack tool.

Unfortunately, at over 10 years old, it is unlikely anyone will have a copy of a superseded firmware still on their computer .

Good luck, maybe someone will have it.

Of course if there is a way to backup mine, dirctly from the camera will be great. If someone has the knowlage how this can be done?

There is a site UserDrivers that I have seen mentioned a couple of time. A search of this site for userdrivers will provide you with a link. I know nothing about the legitimacy of this site or the downloads, use at your own risk.

I hope it will do fine. Will give it a try with the patch and will share feedback.
