I know also that Nikon will always be producing cameras, so I couldn't go wrong. But I am very interested in those tiny little cameras by Sony etc. In which case, my other question is:2) Will Nikon be coming out with a camera that will compete with the Nex 7 or OMD-E5 sometime soon? If the answer for no (2) is yes, then itll make (1) irrelevant. But if the answer is either no or unsure, then I have to think if its worth buying a lenses for a camera that may die, and then I am locked into Nikons that are a little bulky for my taste...and yes, I know this post makes me seem like im not a true nikonite!</blockquote>
