I bought my camera in December haven't used much but am now wanting to take a photography course online. My camera is not working though. When I turn it on go to take a pic the flash pops up and the camera just makes a clicking sound when I push the button to take a pic. Anyone know why? Is there a setting I need to adjust or is my camera broken?

Have you read the manual?

Welcome to the website,

I would double check the battery, put it on charge, I had a similar issue, the camera worked fine, but not take a picture.
Also have a good read of the manual, as it does have some helpful tips near the back with issues with your camera.
