Nikon D3100

HI Everyone,

I have recently purchased Nikon D3100 and i have selected an option Jpeg+Raw to save my pictures.
When i downloaded my pictures into my computer, how can i see the raw ones.
Do i need any software to view them.
I'm a windows user and OS is Win7.

I would use the included software to view the images, unless you have a better program

Unless you have software that can edit Raw they will not really do you any good. The JPEG fine will produce good results if you can not edit the raw files.

Microsoft has a Camera Codec pack you can download at Download Microsoft Camera Codec Pack from Official Microsoft Download Centers

microsoft windows live gallery has an update to view raw but you can edit them...use the veiw nx2 software that came with the camera for raw image manipulation...
