I have it and, being used to bigger film cameras like the F2 and F4S, am much more comfortable with how it feels with it. The two cameras share the same sensor so for the most part the image quality is the same. The D3 does have better high ISO performance than the D700. For the difference you would spend between equal condition D700 and D3's you could probably get another lens.</p></blockquote><p></p>
