Yes, I must admit the 70-300 VR is a great lens. Trading around USD 500 pre-owned here. However, under low light, it has it's disadvantages. Obviously the 70-200 f2.8 vrII would be the best choice. However, a pre-owned will cost USD 1850. Would you consider the sigma 70-200 f2.8 OS as alternative?
