Nikon 70-200mm ED f2.8 Push-Pull zoom

I have an opportunity to buy an old used 70-200mm f2.8 Zoom lens for a very good price. It's the ED series and does not have a build-in autofocus motor - my D7100 works well with it. I tried it and the AF is quite fast. Cool to zoom with the push-pull barrel. The question is does anyone have any experience with this old lens at all? Haven't used a Push-Pull zoom before so any comment on that mode of operations will be appreciated.

I have the 2-ring model and it is a fantastic lens. You will be very pleased with the photos it produces.

I'd suggest that you simply practice with it so the push-pull technique becomes an automatic action on your part.

Haven't heard of a 70-200mm do you mean the 80-200mm F2.8 push pull..From what I've read they can suck in some dust....
