But for static subjects it daylight it looks like it does well especially considering the price. I just ordered the Nikon 55-300 VR II Lens  a few days ago and am waiting it's arrival.  That may serve my need for extended focal range but I thought this lens might be kinda fun to try out a bit. I like the shots you have taken with it so I think I will keep it on my list.
