Not sure I'm supposed to own this lens. :beguiled: The first one I purchased in EXC+ condition from KEH had a sticking point at 35mm when zooming in and out. I sent it back and ordered one in Like New condition via an Amazon seller. Now let me say this copy looks to be in pristine condition. :encouragement: So I took it out this afternoon with a HOYA 62mm HTR CP filter on the lens as well as a lens hood. The lens worked well, but a few times when I rotated the CP filter, the image in my viewfinder became very light. There was more blue in the water which I wanted, so I took photos with the CP filter set that way. So here is a screen shot of the folder of images. Please notice 6537, 6538, and 6541. They look slightly lighter than I would have expected because since they were so light in the viewfinder, the camera should have underexposed them. I didn't override the exposure in any way. I will attach unedited jpegs of 6537 and 6538. Since I opened them in ACR, the default settings were applied (such as sharpening and the default camera profile settings). I didn't do any other editing except for resizing. What I consider to be the darker image has a slightly longer exposure time. I'm wondering if the issue is with the CP filter or the lens. Of course I want to go back out and retest the lens without a CP filter as a precaution. Has anyone ever encountered this? I don't know if the aperture blades are sticking, but it seems unusual with it only happening to the 3 images that looked very light through the viewfinder. I shot at f/10 for other photos, too, without any issues. I'm kind of puzzled over this.
