Should anything need repair, I can use the money I saved by buying refurbed. My guess is that a lot of the refurb stuff might not be because of defect, but were demo or display models. In my 35+ years of shooting Nikon, the only problem I've had was a cosmetic issue with a Nikon grip.</blockquote>
