Paul beat me to it. One single collection that Google has inferred will be a one-time buy, free upgrade forever product. I bought it in 2012 and haven't paid for an upgrade since. Bought Perfect Photo Suite 8 in 2013 and they wanted another $100+ a year later to keep up. NIK did a lot more self-promotion before Google bought them. There were 3-5 weekly live webinars that really got you into the guts of the product. I suspect this is still happening via Google meetups (or whatever they're called), but I'm not a fan of Google as a data collection giant and have avoided setting up all the accounts required to be notified of these things, so I don't hear about it as much any more, and I suspect that's true of a lot of people. It still doesn't diminish the power of the collection. I hardly finish a photo without using at least one of the tools - if only to know to touch up something with a control point in Viveza because I can do it in 1/5 the time that it would take with a masked adjustment layer in PS. There are some great Facebook groups for the various products, and they have links to shared Recipes (i.e. filters) for some of the products (Color Efex Pro and Silver Efex Pro, primarily). BTW, I believe the discount codes that used to be prevalent at various endorser sites are no longer there. Still, it's worth every penny.
