That Wells Fargo building has gone through several name changes since we lived there (Mandarin actually) in the late 80's. First it was Independent Life, than Modis and now Well's Fargo and I may have missed one or two. That waterfront area used to be a real pit and very crime ridden area but the J'ville Mayor, Tommy Hazouri (I think that was his name), sank A LOT of money into that area, and turned it into a real first class place to eat, shop and sightsee. I remember it being a living nightmare trying to get around downtown anytime there was a football game there in the Jax Munincipal Stadium (long before the Jags settled there and it got renamed).</blockquote>
