Re: nidding's first year of shooting Day 185 For the last week, I have been working with a role play for school children. We enacted a part of the Danish-Preussian war of 1864, and the kids were soldiers whose comrades fell in the ultimate battle at a small town, called Lundby. The battle is now, more or less, remembered as a pure massacre, where the Preussians were able to mow down the Danes with their superior fire power, and as a result of very poor judgement from an ageing Danish commander, who ordered his men to charge down a hill with their bayonets, resulting in a pure slaughter of the Danes. This is my colleague for the week, who here plays 'Lieutenant Winther' DSC_6236 by jonas_sandager, on Flickr
