Hello Everybody and Happy New Year to you all. My name is Harry and I am from N.Y. I am looking forward to participating on this site as well as gaining a wealth of knowledge from everyone whether you are veterans , not so newbies and newbies.
My first camera was a N8008s from back in the film era. One night my car was stolen with the camera in the trunk. My saltwater reef tank later in life sparked my interest in photography one again and I purchased a D90 with a 105 macro lens. I have since gotten rid of the reef tank because I realised you cant replicate the ocean in you living room. That hobby was a money pit with nothing to show for it in the end(imo). I realised I wanted to funnel that money into a BETTER HOBBY with the best Camera brand in the world. Three weeks ago my wife surprised me at Christmas with a D800E. I love all types of photography but I especially love long exposures. Once again looking forward to meeting and learning.
