I don't really specialise in anything, I like to keep my options open and am willing to point my camera at pretty much anything. I do like a nice landscape, and very much like taking pics of animals. I'm also a huge ice hockey fan and over the last season and half I've been taking my camera to games with me and have been getting some shots that I've been reasonably pleased with. Although, I do struggle with high ISO noise because of the low light levels in the rink - my entry level DSLR does tend to struggle a bit. I find that to get the correct exposure I need ISO1600 but my D3100 does give out quite a bit of noise all the way up there - I get much more pleasing results at ISO800 then increasing the exposure in PS later...it's still noisy but not AS noisy. I'm also pleased that the club like my pics and occasionally use them on the team website. So, as mentioned, I have a D3100 which is matched with either the 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 kit lens, a Nikkor AF-S 55-300mm f/4.5-5.6 or a Nikkor AF 50mm f/1.8. [QUOTE="suvvers1973, post: 382429, member: 34686"] Hello All, I'm Steve, I live in Sudbury, Suffolk - although I'm oringinally from Manchester - with my ever suffering wife and black Labrador. In the real world, I'm a bus driver and work 5/6 days a week so don't get as much time as I'd like with my camera. That said I do love getting out and about when I can.
