Hi all, I have joined nikonites because I almost bought a D600 until I read about the dust and oil problem so I am now holding off on my purchase until the D610 comes to the market. I am not new to photography but I have not done anything for the last 20 years. At that time I was using Bronica 645 equipment. What started as a hobby turned into really hard work doing weddings for friends and relatives. I did however manage to get some acceptances into exhibitions which was all stuff from the hobby side of things.
I am now going to start again hobby only, and I thought a reasonable kit to get me started would be a D600, 24-85, 70-200 and possible a 100mm macro lens would set me well on my way. The only reason I wanted the D600 was because of the superb sensor it uses.
Hopefully I will get up to speed using the information available on the forums.
Regards
Andy
