New to posting pictures

I have a quick but probably stupid question. I notice when I post up some of my pictures they post up right away, but others need to get approve by admins. I wanted to why some have to and other don't? Also how long does it usually take for the pictures to get approved. Thanks for reading.

i have never needed an approval for a pictures upload. This is something for admin or mod's. What type of picture where you trying to upload?

Some were of a car, some of some beaches. There all within the topic of the threads I post them in so there not out of line pictures. It's like maybe close to half of my post of pictures have to be approved....

I don't know why they would have to be approved. Did you take the time to resize them? Maybe they are just too big to be posted as is… Maybe John or fotoJack could shed light on this.

Maybe where you posted them they are out of topic, or you posted them in a non picturw thread, or to another member's 365 thread.

I realize this might seem like a dumb question, but what makes you think, or how do you know the photos, had to be "approved"? Did you get a message, or did it just take a lot longer for them to appear?

Like I stated in my previous reply there were within the topic of the threads.

Yes I shows a message about two lines long saying that pictures must get approved. Ill try to take a screen shot and see if I can post in here.
