Just getting started shooting panos and would like to get some feedback as far as how to improve. Any constructive criticism would be appreciated.

The detail and color in the sky are nice. You might try masking the sky and increasing the warm yellows and oranges. Then copy and invert the mask and bring up the brightness in the rather dark foreground. I would like to see some more detail in the foliage, and the water.

I hope you don't mind. I imported your posted image into Lightroom and gave it a quick edit. Here is what I came up with. Not saying it's the best edit, but just to give an idea. You will probably have more detail to work with using the original file, especially if you shot it in RAW.

Lightroom/Photoshop is very good. Unfortunately, it is available only by subscription, rent vs buy. The good news is that they are making constant upgrades to the programs and you get upgrades as soon as they are released. The remove tool with generative AI is absolutely amazing. Just paint the area you want removed and it will automatically fill in the area where an object is removed. It's not perfect, and it will give you different options to choose from, but it is incredibly easy to use, and normally the removal is invisible.

There is a learning curve, like all powerful software.

Overall I like the image. A couple of thing you could try to see if they are to your liking, lighten the bottom portion of the image below the horizon I wouldn't go very far. I do like to see a glow of the golden light coming off the water so you could try that in combination with the lightening or separately. I do like the sky especially to the right of the sun so you could have tried another composition biased further to the right. The main detraction for your image is the bright cloud above the sun. Too bad you can't wish the clouds where you want them but that is part of the fun.
With the way the light changes during sunrises and sunsets sometime you only get one attempt at your vision especially with panos so don't take my comment as gospel but rather some things to consider, I wasn't there.

Maybe something like this.
