Message: <blockquote data-quote="PapaST" data-source="post: 268636" data-attributes="member: 8330">I should have posted them with the same bodies.  I did just go back and tried them both with the same model (II and the III).  The difference between the two never changed (1 point separating the two) but the scores did change they both moved up.  I was hoping for a little better as well.  But in reality having a little more reach with the same quality made Sigma drop its price.  I think 1069 is a fair price for what they offer (sans any autofocus issues)I might consider the latest 80-400 Nikon.  At twice the price (even with $400 off) selling plasma won't cut it.  I'll have to sell an organ.</blockquote>
