Message: <blockquote data-quote="NVSteve" data-source="post: 197170" data-attributes="member: 13248"><p>I'm interested.  I first saw mention of this about a month or so ago.  Sigma have been releasing some very nice lenses of late, and I'm hopeful this one will be the same.  But, we probably won't be seeing it until 2015.  One thing about the Nikon 24-70 that bugs me is when shooting at 24mm, which I tend to do most with that type of lens.  At 24mm, the lens barrel is fully extended and the lens hood does not extend with the inner barrel itself.  Only speaking for myself here, but I'd prefer no extension at 24mm & a lens hood that actually moves with the barrel (especially when shooting in the rain).</p></blockquote><p></p>
