Howdy! Looooong time Sony user here. My previous cameras were Sony H1 and H3 models, and when I switched to DSLR, naturally went with a Sony a330. As I've started taking my photography more seriously, I quickly found the limitations of an entry-level camera. Last week I grabbed my bootstraps (and wallet!) and purchased the Nikon D90. I'll never look back...I love this camera. On a personal note, I'm a 35 year old single parent, college student, and budding photographer. I have no allusions to "turning pro" at this point, but would like to hone my skills and eventually earn some side income with my photos. Subjects that I find particularly interesting:

Abandoned buildings
Photojournalism/candids
MMA fights/alternative sports
I really like the gritty and retro look, as well as lomography. You can check out my blog and Flickr photostream links in my signature for some samples of my work. Looking forward to contributing to the forum!
