Hi all, thanks for letting me join. Am hoping to learn and be able to post an image here and there.
Shooting a Z8 and occasionally the old 7500. Frequently confused and frustrated - most often with theGodox flash and trigger that needs an engineering degree and a Harry Potter wand to operate.

Welcome.

I have a Godox 685 and the wireless trigger. Setting everything up can be a challenge. After a while you get the hang of it, at least for the functions you use a lot. I use mine almost exclusively for macro work, so all I have to do is to keep it in manual mode, change the power setting, and make sure it fires.

am running the 685 as well. If the next 10 YT videos don't enlighten me, I might reach out to see how you are doing it. Frankly, I don't use them often but I know they are part of the "secret" for getting better images.

Welcome enjoy the site!

I have a 685II a Xpro trigger and an X1r recover (for my SB700 Nikon flash). When I get lost setting up and things don't work I do a reset to get things restored.
