I think you are talking about the Sigma 50-500. That would be a lot of lens to pack around on a daily basis and would only give you a 75mm on the bottom end and a lot of overlap with the 80-200. You might instead consider a used mid-range zoom like an 18-70mm. This was the original kit lens for the D70 and so is pretty available. This combination would give you a equivalent range of 27-300mm and would be much lighter to pack than the Bigma.</p></blockquote><p></p>
