But looking at the 24 and 35 1.4's, price is way above IQ, they should be much better or cheaper. They may have been the best at release, but their issues stand out more now. This is what drove me to the sigma 35 1.4, better IQ than the Nikon at 1/3 price. From now on I will scrutinize each lens and not buy solely by brand. BTW, 1.4 is hard enough to shoot with, 1.2, in my opinion, will require manual focus and tripod most of the time. Obviously this is a specialty lens, but convenience can be important too,</p></blockquote><p></p>
