Which brand is a large consideration, as lenses for one brand pretty much cannot be used on another brand of camera. Obviously we are Nikon users here, although there are some who have other brand cameras as well.One suggestion I might make is to take a photography class, if one is available locally. Failing that, there are some good Youtube videos available, unfortunately, there are some that are less than good.
