Welcome to nikonites! I've just recently bought a D5100 myself, so we're both in the same boat as far as learning to using the D5100!

high... I'm not sure you'll be able to learn much here. Usually we just take our cameras, point and click.

Enjoy and read... Don't be afraid to ask questions... and most importantly use search. It'll by far be the easiest way to answer most questions.
