I used to do a lot of diving in the local rivers here around Charleston SC. I also did a lot of volunteer work in underwater archaeology with the state institute. I had something of in interest in the movement of artifacts from point of entry in the water system. this was generally boat docks, landings and river crossings. There were also artifact scatters from banks being eroded and the lighter sand and  mud material traveling further downstream, leaving the heavier artifacts behind. Photography is my big hobby now.
