Message: <blockquote data-quote="Spgreen65" data-source="post: 523967" data-attributes="member: 38889">Today i got my Opteka 8mm, that is a full manual lens, (no chip) I should be able to go to the menu and select Non-CPU Lens, set max aperture of 3.5, focal length of 8mm, and load the lens on the body in the f3.5 position and it should recognize what stop it is in, and allow the metering to work correctly, Right?  well it always says it is at 3.5.  Anyone had this issue.  I would love to be able to use manual lenses, such as the old Non-AIS lenses and old Russian glass like the Helios, but now i am concerned or is it just this lens.
