New lens suggestions

First off let me say I shoot a D7000 and I find myself with the option of buying a Tamron 28-75 f2.8 LD lens barely used at a good price. I don't know if I really need it though. I've already got all Nikkor 18-55, 70-200, 50mm 1.8g and a 35mm 1.8. I am just a hobby picture taker but I enjoy it a lot. Is there a place or a need for this lens? It's a really good deal at $300 but even if it's not but $10 if I don't need it I don't need it. Any suggestions? Also what would this lens do that my others won't cover?

That particular older Tamron is actually pretty highly rated. Check for any de-centering before buying as it was an issue on some copies. That range is a good range for events (weddings, parties, ect.) A fast zoom is always handy, you will have to decide if you need it :).
