new lens advice

I just purchased a Nikon DX 35mm f/1.8G, when i put it on my D60 it goes on no problem, when i put it on my D7000 the last quarter turn is tight, is this something i should be concerned about??? or will it loosen up after a few times on and off.

Mine does the same thing. I just figured it was the weather proof gasket sealing firmly against the lens mount.

ok, cheers, as the D60 isnt weather proof it doesnt happen there.

Have not really noticed it on mine. On both my D80 and D5100, no issues. I guess you just gotta break her in!

Don't know about 80, but 51 is as simple as it gets without weather sealing, so ALL lenses fit and fits just fine. Better tighter than looser though.
