[QUOTE="LensWork, post: 6515, member: 1283"] I don't know how many of you are on Facebook, and if so, if you have noticed the new "Download in High Resolution" option for photos. A friend of mine had commented on his page that he was upset that Facebook was allowing people to download hi-res copies of his images, and how could he prevent it. Previously, the highest res that could be posted on Facebook was 720 pixels, on the longest side. Now images can be uploaded that are up to 2048 pixels on the longest side. The max display size is still 720 pixels, but images uploaded that are larger than that will automatically display the "Download in High Resolution" option. My answer to him was simple: if he uploads hi-res images, there is no way to opt-out of the hi-res download feature; if you do not want hi-res images to be downloaded, then simply do not post hi-res versions!
