For most of my picture life I used a 126 (which I would like to get going again) and an old pro pentax handed down to me from my grandfather. I had talked about for years getting a digital camera. Back in 2005 (I think) I started reading up on them. The magazine recommended the D40x. Not thinking I went to buy one and got a D40 with the 18-55 and the 55-200. Broke the plastic mount on the 18-55 and had some odd lenses hear and there. Used it in manual and aperature because I hated the cameras auto. I have been wanting to get better lenses and a better camera mainly a D90 for years but lost my job and it was not possible. Just got a D700. Almost given to me for what I got it for. I hope to get better lenses like the 24 2.8D (I used to have one), 60mm macro, 105mm macro, and a 70-200 2.8. Right now I have the 50 1.8D (which I love), and a sorta ok at f16 and up Tamron 28-105 I just got for a couple bucks. I hope to learn more about studio lighting and portraits. I plan on getting the 5 in 1 reflector kit from Adorama. Other than all this I like plants, animals, and nature in general. My flickr page has stuff I like and not stuff I am trying to impress with my fantastic photography skills. I have fun first and try to get good pictures later. That is how I have fun with photography. My flickr page if you want to see it. Flickr: Culebra Venenosa
